Make Extra Free Money

I am an ordinary no-techie guy just like you. How I managed to find the next generation success needle in a haystack was the best accident that happened in my life.

I learned that the only way to succeed online is to have your own web site.

Whaaat? Well, you already have one? But the big question is - is it making you money? Or do you know how to compete with the internet biggies?

I do. :-)

No idea how to build a web site? No niche topic? No problem.

So? Build a web site now.

After years of 3 other non-working failed web sites, affiliate programs, make money online scam, network marketing schemes, and more than two thousand dollars, I finally realized that the get-rich-in-so-so days scheme were not meant for me.. but for the sellers.

I finally did it. Yeah, and I'm your simply guy next block. And if I can do it, and if you want it, you can do it.

Guaranteed.

I am a living proof that it works. And with the world's best dummy-friendly software to back you up in building a web site...

You think I'm lying? Go check the magic...

How To Find A Good Lender

Finding a good lender is deciding to choose from a maze of mortgage brokers and direct lenders. I myself learned it the long and hard way. Let me help you scrutinize how a mortgage broker or direct lender can give you what you're really looking for.

Mortgage brokers are independent financial specialists in residential and commercial loan origination. After getting your application, they forward the fund servicing of the loans to wholesale lenders (lenders who work only with mortgage brokers), and can work with many other lenders at one time.

Direct lenders are lending from their own funds, and thus capable of making the final decision on your application. Mortgage brokers perform the intermediary functions and represent many lenders and loan programs from which to choose.

The professional expertise of a mortgage broker, coupled with direct access to hundreds of loan products from lenders and wholesale lending sources, is able to provide the most efficient way to obtain competitive pricing for a customer’s specific financial circumstances, and can save you money.

How? Because a direct lender can only offer you from among its limited in-house loan programs. They do an outstanding job, but your choices are confined to what they can call the best deal from a lender, but NOT the best loan for you.

This is where mortgage brokers come to the rescue. Even if they charge a little bit more, a mortgage broker can save you thousands of dollars with the appropriate loan according to your needs.

My personal take is I’d rather pay the broker’s commission if the end result would still give me more money in my pocket.

Is The Filipino Channel Still No. 1?

Since The Filipino Channel (TFC) has partnered with Direct TV Satellite, it has received some positive and negative reviews. Now you have to subscribe first to Direct TV before you can avail of The Filipino TV Channel to get a glimpse of ABS-CBN Channel 2 and/or GMA Pinoy broadcasts.

But over one million Filipinos overseas view The Filipino Channel globally each day, and TFC continues to dominate North America's all-Filipino programming.

And what do you see on TFC? Well, I can't say it's at par with American television programming, but the joy it brings to our Pinoy hearts when we see fellow Filipinos having simple (most of the time, corny) entertainment still keeps us coming back for more.

Medical Tourism in the Philippines

What is Medical Tourism?

Did you know that many people are discovering that a medical procedure or cosmetic and plastic surgery in the Philippines is six to eight times cheaper than in the US? As an example, an $8000 medical procedure in the US only costs about $1200 in the Philippines equivalent to a savings of 85%. Better yet, if you have a $4000 budget, your air travel, tropical vacation, relaxing spa and extra shopping expenses are all covered to still save 50%!

Sssshhh.. and it can be done in complete anonymity.

Medical tourism therefore is a medical / cosmetic procedure coupled with the travel and vacation package in one. It is becoming popular among Filipino Americans, Americans and foreigners alike. Most avail of three or more procedures to save even more. And there is no doubt that our medical facilities and doctor expertise are parallel to foreign counterparts.

Health, wellness, and beauty are top and primary concerns of individuals. Wouldn't you want to enjoy the luxury of an exotic vacation, and return home feeling good inside and out with a higher self-esteem and more money in your pocket?

For The Victims of The Virginia Tech Massacre

Let's take a moment remembering the victims of the Virginia Tech massacre, the worst in US history, and pray for the souls of the departed and those they left behind.

To all of you who are affected by this tragedy, we made and dedicate this poem for you.

Take your time to break down...
Then take the time to rebuild.

Take your time to mourn...
Then take the time to heal.

Take your time to hate...
Then take the time to forget.

As one would say it's for a reason
Each temporal life has its own mission
Grave is not your dear one's goal
But a welcome to an immortal soul.

Love and prayers,
Jose and Maria

Relocating To Arizona

Are you relocating to Arizona or any other US state?

I can't blame people who are seriously considering moving to Arizona, now America's fastest growing state. The Sun Valley is more than just a great vacation site. Arizona is also and definitely a great place to live in. For the past decade, it consistently earns significant recognitions for its economical, educational, business and tourism growth.

Relocating to a new home is a difficult task. So many things to plan before you move. So many things to do when you move. So many things to think about after you move. But guess what? When I first moved to Arizona, it wasn't that bad after all.

How I did it? Planning is the key. Organizing is second. I came from the Philippines and got a fresh new start. International relocation to Arizona or to any US state seems much easier than transferring from one state to another, especially if you'll bring along some of your old properties to your new home. Adjustment to another culture and climate were my primary concerns then. But that didn't last long and proved not so difficult though.

Now settled in Phoenix, I look forward to retiring to a sunny state. Looking back, Arizona was a good choice for me and for my family.

It still is.

Your Filipino Channel Online

Whenever I surf the net for various Filipino or Filipino American information (can't help it, it's in the blood), I ended up jumping from one web site to another, that usually resulted to opening 4 or 5 windows on my screen. There's just a lot of Pinoy stuff I wanted to put all together..

And so I did.

I built this Filipino Channel Online page in my site.

Are you looking for the cheapest pre-paid phone card to call the Philippines, live AM/FM Philippine radio broadcasts, Filipino Tagalog DVDs to buy, Philippine real estate, Filipino jokes and trivia, even the best skin lightening and whitening soap/lotion/cream product (my wife kept bugging me for this one, she's just so proud it's made in the Philippines)? And much much more.

Believe me, even though it is a tiring job, I am having fun doing it. And I'm not done yet. Filipino stuff has just so much to cover. Helps me refresh those good old memories too.

Join me. I love to share Filipino Channel Online with you. You'll love it!

Truth is, it's built for you. ;-)

Vacation in Laughlin, Nevada!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday and our wedding anniversary last March 7-9 in Laughlin, Nevada.

We preferred Laughlin over Las Vegas because of three reasons:

- it's a shorter drive from Phoenix, Arizona;

- the Colorado River was a lovely sight from our hotel;

- there's not much noise around. Probably because it attracts more of the senior crowd. If you want more lively action inside and out, then Las Vegas is for you. Maybe we'll go with some relatives this coming Memorial Day this time to get energetic entertainment in LV.

But definitely, our trip to Laughlin, Nevada is something to remember for just the two of us. :-)

Sorry if I missed replying to some emails. I'm back on track again!

Paul's Birthday

Last January 20, we celebrated my younger brother's (Paul's, which is actually Jan. 17) birthday. Family and friends came over to greet him.

Hah! You'll never be too old to blow your birthday candle and make a wish. :-)

Let's see, what did we cook (I mean, my wife hehe)? There was bistek Pilipino.. and chicken apritada.. and roast duck.. a huge sweet and sour carp fish.. and (tada!) seafood pancit bihon.

Ever tasted this kind of pancit? I learned to prepare it from Japan. Instead of chicken or pork meat, you can use shrimp, mussels, clams, squid, fish ball, and crabmeat. Then mix with the veggies and noodles as usual.

You should try it!

That night was sooo cold. Arizona has been experiencing the coldest days and nights for the past couple of weeks. A record high since decades ago.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! See ya later!

A Call For Charity Donation

A call for charity donation. A call for love.

There's been a series of typhoons that struck the Philippines during the last quarter of 2006, killing thousands of victims - poor families, women, children, old folks. Even burying villages due to mudslides. Gosh, if they were my own flesh and blood, it would be unimaginable. I tell myself, how can these people cope with it? Or maybe they can't?

Let's reach out to them, please. One's contribution makes a big difference if we all come together.

Please take a moment to drop by here -

A Call For Love For Filipinos

God bless.

Arizona - America's No. 1 State!

Have you heard?

Arizona is now USA's fastest growing state!

Surpassing Nevada that held the title for the last 19 years, Arizona indeed has gone a long way from being just a desert land.

Discover more of the Grand Canyon State - Arizona .

Happy New Year Everyone!

Happy New Year to all!

As part of our Filipino tradition, my family celebrated as the clock struck midnight of New Year's Eve.

Well, I wasn't there at that time. I missed the poppers after being home at 1:00am. Me and my co-driver drove home late after being stuck in Denver, Colorado because of the blizzard. We actually got lucky when the state opened the northbound highway where we chose to head on even if it was a longer route (we're supposed to go home southbound). Otherwise, we would have been home Jan. 2 yet.

Our family and friends who celebrated with us on this special occasion -

Sitted from left - Father Reggie, Tito Fykes & Tita Milet Valdez, Tito Frank Abalos
The guy on the right is Mr. Claus. :-)

Glad to be home and back to post here. Again -

Manigong Bagong Taon po sa lahat!!!
